s a 25,500 square foot facility located on 7 acres in northwest St. Petersburg, Florida. Today, The Science Center attracts over 70,000 students and visitors annually to its many hands-on, educational programs and exhibits. Through the mobile outreach program (MOP), Science Center instructors deliver hands-on science education to schools, clubs, retirement centers and special events. During summer months and on school breaks, innovative workshops educate and entertain kindergarten through 12th grade students. Additionally, special programs are designed for preschool children throughout the year.
